Gharieni and Dornbracht partner to launch horizontal shower treatment table
25 Mar 2014 . BY Liz Terry
Gharieni – designer and manufacturer of high-end spa treatment tables – has joined forces with bathroom fittings specialist Dornbracht to create the Libra, a wet table which enables guests to shower lying down. The two companies have combined their expertise to create the innovative new product.

The heatable table is height- as well as front- and rear-adjustable and comes equipped with a horizontal shower module with six recessed water bars. Users can choose from a variety of pre-programmed aqua "choreographies" which offer either a balancing, an energising or a de-stressing effect. There's also a range of settings for water temperature, intensity and quantity.

The shower's eTOOL control panel – integrated in the main column of the shower module – makes it convenient to operate. All basic functions can be accessed by pressing the appropriate button once. A ring of light around the button provides intuitive feedback when the flow rate and the temperature are changed, automatically adjusting the temperature to a comfortable level.

The bed is made from Corian® and is available in a wide range of colours, as well as in an upholstered finish for use in massage treatments. In addition, Gharieni offers the Libra without the horizontal shower module as a Libra Wet Table for wet treatments such as scrubs, and those which use water, oil and mud.

Sammy Gharieni, CEO of Gharieni said: "The Libra Horizontal Shower is not a new wet table, it's a complete new concept in terms of its functionality. Time and again we find the high-end spa and wellness markets need extraordinary, luxury innovations."

Donbracht's Bastian Hartwigsen said: "We're very excited to partner with Gharieni, and have merged our knowledge and capabilities to create a unique treatment experience."

Both types of Libra beds are plug and play for easy installation and have been designed to create unique experiences in spa and wellness environments.
