Dornbracht debuts Rainmoon wellness shower concept at Salone del Mobile
17 Apr 2018 . BY Lauren Heath-Jones
Rainmoon is a multi-sensory wellness experience designed to revitalise and reinvigorate the user

Dornbracht, a German-based luxury bathroom specialist, has launched an innovative new shower experience, Rainmoon.

Slated as the next generation of the company's LifeSpa concept, Rainmoon is a multi-sensory wellness experience designed to revitalise and reinvigorate the user.

Water falls from a built in dome in the ceiling which is designed to seamlessly integrate into its surroundings. It features integrated mood lighting which creates a soft moonlit ambience, and two newly developed shower sprays, Tempest and Aqua Circle.

Tempest offers free falling large water drops, similar to raindrops, and is designed to deliver a refreshing and relaxing experience to make the user feel as if they are standing outside in a storm.

Aqua Circle is customisable to the user's needs. Water falls in a stream, the size of which changes on the water flow. Higher water flow creates a powerful, concentrated stream of water, ideal for washing, and a lower water flow increases the stream of water, which falls more gently.

Andreas Dornbracht, managing director of Dornbracht, says: "Rainmoon is our answer to the growing need for balance and vitality. Indeed, in times of acceleration, digital transformation and revolution, more and more is being demanded of people. In light of this, maintaining both physical and mental health is becoming increasingly important. The bathroom can be a important part of one's personal health strategy."

"Rainmoon is a culmination of bliss achieved through the combination of water and light, bringing relaxation, refreshment, or a feeling of wellbeing and security," he adds.
