Elemis has reformulated its Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm to include more than 17 different varieties of rose extract |
|
Elemis has partnered with luxury British fashion house Lily & Lionel to create a new limited edition version of its Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm to support Breast Cancer Care, a UK-based charity which provides care, information and support to people affected by breast cancer.
Marking 18 years of Elemis' involvement with the charity, the new Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm features an exclusive rose print designed by Lily and Lionel, and has undergone a reformulation to include the addition of rose extracts from more than 17 different varieties of English roses, as well as rare extracts taken from varieties from around the world.
Other ingredients include Mimosa and Rose Flower wax to dissolve make-up and dirt and deeply cleanse the skin, while Starflower oil and Padina Pavonica, a type of algae, maintains moisture levels and nourishes the skin. Elderberry oil smooths the skin and fatty acid rich Rosehip Seed oil replenishes the skin's lipid barrier, leaving the skin radiant.
Elemis has pledged to donate £25k of the profits to Breast Cancer Care to help the charity continue supporting breast cancer sufferers.
"Elemis has been a longtime supporter of Breast Cancer Care. We choose charities that we feel really make a difference in people's wellbeing and it is an honour to continue our long-term relationship with this great organisation," said Elemis co-founder Orielle Frank.
"Our contribution will help Breast Cancer Care continue to care for those affected with breast cancer. We also strongly support the organisation in their efforts to reduce barriers to breast cancer awareness," Frank added.
