Dyaco UK Ltd has announced the official launch of the long-awaited Johnny G Spirit Bike to the UK market, with the first installation in Feelgood Fitness in Grantham. The commercial indoor bike has been created in collaboration with fitness innovator Johnny G and offers a premium indoor cycling experience.
Suitable for riders of all abilities, the Johnny G Spirit Bike has 20 levels of electronically controlled, magnetic resistance, enabling the user to replicate and differentiate their training sessions. The bike features a high-visibility LED display and has integrated training programmes including 2 core training protocols; HR Zone and Power Zone, incorporating Functional Threshold Power (FTP) testing and power zone light indication.
Feelgood Fitness Grantham will be offering a variety of different class formats and programmes all designed to incorporate the Myzone system. The Johnny G Spirit Bikes are ideal bikes for the FG Cycle Zone as they feature a telemetric heart rate receiver which is fully compatible with Myzone.
Johnny G says: “It’s fantastic to see the first UK installation of the Johnny G Spirit Bikes at Feelgood Fitness. The bike has been developed to enhance the end user’s experience and the FG Cycle Zone provides the perfect example of how this is being achieved. By integrating with Myzone, this takes the experience even further through real-time performance tracking and post-workout data that allows them to make ongoing measurable and sustainable progress.
Dave Wright, CEO of Myzone and owner of Feelgood Fitness Gyms, says: “We could not be more delighted to have the bikes created by the person who introduced indoor cycling to the world. Johnny G. Feelgood Fitness is the global training centre for Myzone so we have operators from around the world visiting and experiencing the Myzone technology. Why not have the best in breed for indoor cycling bikes too? Beyond the global stage, my members absolutely love the bikes, and the fact that they integrate with Myzone is the icing on the cake.”
