The RE:GEN has already pedalled its way to fame as an innovative fitness bike
– Will Flint, CEO |
Energym’s flagship product, the RE:GEN Studio, is an indoor bike that captures the energy from workouts and converts it into clean, usable power.
In the gym, human power is harnessed in an Energy Storage System and fed into the building.
An installation with 40 RE:GEN bikes and five daily classes can generate enough clean electricity to light 80 homes per day. In the home, this energy is stored in the OHM, a 100Wh portable energy capsule. One full charge of the OHM on the RE:GEN can fully charge 11 iPhones or 2.5 laptops.
Will Flint, CEO of Energym, said: “The RE:GEN has already pedalled its way to fame as an innovative fitness bike and we’re just warming up. We’re here to support gyms in their race towards Net Zero, providing advice and solutions to reduce their carbon footprint, and costs.
“Combined with our ecosystem of products which are designed to redefine user experience, including our AI-powered immersive software, we’re creating experiences that inspire a global movement of RE:BELS who exercise for the good of themselves, and the benefit of our planet.”
