Major Events International have announced that the next Major Events International Summit will take place at the iconic London Aquatics Centre on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 12 and 13 October 2016.
The London Aquatics Centre, designed by pioneering architect Zaha Hadid, is one of the most technologically advanced and stunning swimming facilities in the world and an enduring 2012 London legacy facility.
It will provide the perfect setting for the Summit which focuses on the Business of Sport and best practice when delivering and hosting iconic sports events.
Commenting on the choice of venue, Dennis Mills CEO of Major Events International said: “We are delighted to be using the Aquatic Centre for our next MEI Summit. It is a fitting backdrop to share experience, market insights and industry trends, and to identify supply chain collaboration and innovative market solutions.”
The Summit will bring together industry-leading Major Events suppliers, as well as organising committees, governing bodies and venue operators for two days of workshops and panels in this non-conference format.
In order to retain the high level networking and relationship building approach, attendance is limited to 160 places for MEI members, clients and VIP invitees.
For non-members of the MEI network, an invitation to request attendance can be submitted and best endeavours will be used for a timely reply about available space.
For more information and to request your invitation contact email: [email protected] , call +44 (0)20 7073 2661 or follow #MEISummit.
