This is a place to welcome our community, provide education and share and inspire through our brand vision and values
– Tracy Brasenell |
Sustainable spa and wellness brand Comfort Zone has officially opened the doors to its eco-conscious headquarters in the heart of Kings Cross, central London.
Now housing the UK Comfort Zone team, the 4,600sq ft space was brought to life by interior designer Melody Weir, who also launched the design for the B Corp brand Brooklyn, New York office earlier in 2022.
UK country manager, Tracy Brasenell, commented: “We’re delighted to launch our new home in the UK. It’s a place for us to welcome our Comfort Zone community, provide education and share and inspire through our brand vision and values.”
Complete with a stylish modern architectural design, the building has been constructed with recycled, repurposed and sustainably sourced materials, such as timber, to complement the brand's sustainability ethos.
Interior furnishings also pay tribute to Comfort Zone’s eco-conscious approach with details including cushion covers made from reused plastic bottles and curtains crafted from sustainably-sourced fabrics. An intelligent lighting system has also been installed which automatically adjusts light levels based on the external conditions to promote each employee’s wellbeing.
With a plethora of more than 30,000 individual plants spread across the site, the space is designed to bring the brand’s DNA to life; conscious skincare science providing science-backed, regenerative results for both skin and planet. In a nod to this, a living plant wall has also been installed that is made up of a mixture of monsteras, pothos, philodendrons, prayer plans and assorted asplenium ferns.
