Himalayan Source introduces Himalayan Salt Capsule
25 Aug 2023 . BY Megan Whitby
The capsule provides space for guests to relax and breathe in the benefits of halotherapy through the HaloGX Pro halogenerator / Himalayan Source
The capsule allows spas to quickly upgrade and enhance their space, both improving guest wellness and generating ROI quickly
– Ann Brown
Himalayan Source has launched the Himalayan Salt Capsule to help spa, wellness and fitness facilities or residences upgrade their offering with halotherapy.

“Our latest product brings an all-encompassing halotherapy escape to the user in a space-saving design optimised for wellness,” said Himalayan Source co-founder Ann Brown.

“No major renovations are needed to accommodate the Salt Capsule, allowing spas to quickly upgrade and enhance their space while improving guest wellness and generating ROI quickly at the same time.”

Designed to accommodate one to two people, the Himalayan Source Salt Capsule is fitted with a HaloGX Pro halogenerator to disperse micron-sized salt particles.

The floor of the glass capsule is equipped with backlit Himalayan salt bricks. The flooring is customisable, with white salt bricks also available as an upgrade. Other options include satin glass for privacy, a backlit salt wall and colour options for the base and ceiling.

Known for its quiet, easy-to-use operation, the HaloGX Pro uses less salt per session but has the same efficiency as standard halogenerators. An additional “turbo” feature allows an increase in salt levels as desired.

With easy-to-follow assembly instructions, the Himalayan Source Salt Capsule can be installed within two to three hours and requires two standard 120 VAC outlets. The capsule features low power consumption (50W, 110/230V, 50/60Hz).

A collaboration between Himalayan Source’s sister brand Saltability and Stewart Griffith of Touch America, the new showroom space caters to spa and wellness clientele, as well as architects, contractors, and interested home builders.

"This showroom allows customers a firsthand experience of the health benefits and unique qualities of salt therapy and Himalayan salt," said Griffith.

Visitors can explore various salt therapy products, experience hands-on demonstrations, and engage with experts from Saltability and Himalayan Source at the showroom.

The showroom is open from 10-3, Monday to Friday.
