Tara Well Bar launches to expand the guest wellness experience beyond spa walls
17 Nov 2021 . BY Megan Whitby
The Tara Well Bar features Tara Spa's solutions-orientated aromatherapy products designed to target everyday health concerns
Any opportunity to keep the guest engaged that isn’t dependent on a therapist or treatment room is essential right now
– Tara Grodjesk
Tara Spa Therapy has introduced the Tara Well Bar, a mobile caddy that offers grab-and-go aromatherapy self-care products anywhere, anytime.

The trolley doubles as a point of purchase kiosk and an aromatherapy blending bar where guests can create their own aroma wellness blends to take home.

The Tara Well Bar is designed to promote self-care practice by giving hotel and resort guests easy accessibility to eight collections of organic, holistic bath and body products to use daily, for home spa rituals.

Options include CALM for stress relief; REST for sleep and deep relaxation; RENEW for restoring depleted energy; BALANCE for centring and grounding; LOVE for nourishing and nurturing; RECOVER or soothing muscles and joints; DETOX for cleansing and purifying; and IMMUNE BOOST for supporting immune resilience.

“Our new Tara Well Bar expands the possibilities for spas, hotels and resort properties,” explains Tara Grodjesk, founder and president of Tara Spa Therapy.

“For years I’ve had an aromatherapy blending bar where therapists create custom blends for guests to use within their treatment and gift to them after the ritual.

“But now, guest experiences that go beyond the treatment room and involve guests in the creation of these products are hugely popular.

“Especially with the staffing shortage in our industry, any opportunity to keep the guest engaged that isn’t dependent on a therapist or treatment room is essential right now.

“I created it because I wanted the mobility to expand the spa footprint and to engage guests in fun and inspiring activities that would also encourage self-care practice and wellness lifestyle.”

The caddy is 20” wide x 36” long and 36” high and features six retail shelves for display, lockable drawers for storage of back stock, locking wheels for safety and a spacious countertop for interactive blending activities.
