La Rue Verte creates bespoke CBD massage oil and ritual for Aman Spa at The Connaught

CBD wellness brand La Rue Verte has developed a new treatment for the Aman Spa at The Connaught in London – the only Aman Spa in the world outside an Aman resort.

The CIBTAC-accredited ritual has been created to help ground guests through a bespoke lymphatic drainage massage, designed to eliminate toxin build-up, release muscle tension and manage pain.

La Rue Verte has also incorporated reflexology body mapping to target key areas of concern across mind and body, drawing on the non-psychotropic properties of CBD to help promote inner balance.

During the massage, therapists use a new professional-use CBD massage oil, developed exclusively for Aman by La Rue Verte.

The formula incorporates active ingredients and potent CBD (2 per cent, equating to 10,000mg), blended together to soothe, uplift, ease pain and support the respiratory system.

La Rue Verte has also infused the formula with a host of aromatic oils including bergamot, moringa, ho wood, cedarwood, cypress, eucalyptus, rosemary and myrcene.

Yuki Kiyono, head of wellness and spa at Aman commented: “It’s long been in our minds to introduce a CBD treatment to the wellness offering at The Connaught as a continuation of Aman’s pioneering approach to wellness.

“We’re delighted to have worked with La Rue Verte to combine traditional massage with reflexology to create a bespoke experience for our guests.”

Emma O’Neil, MD and founder of La Rue Verte, adds: “We’ve trained The Connaught’s therapists to deliver our decadent healing journeys drawing on the power of CBD and plant molecules, and to do this with a wealth of knowledge and expertise – ensuring industry compliance and innovation for the spa.”

With a starting cost of £170 (€200, US$226), the treatment is available in 30-minute, 60-minute, 90-minute or two-hour sessions.
