Gharieni Group announces launch of Metawell

Metawell's range of tech-forward wellness beds, loungers and equipment was born out of the need to help people bioharmonise / Gharieni Group
We’ve seen the need to lead in this sector given that there is still much confusion on how to best create value using mind/body wellness technologies
– Sammy Gharieni
The Gharieni Group has expanded its family of brands with Metawell: a new brand that will exclusively communicate and offer its mind/body wellness technologies offering in the global market.

Metawell represents the final phase in the spa, medical and wellness equipment manufacturer’s restructuring phase which has been executed to implement a new market segmentation strategy – one that aligns with the developing needs of the wellness consumer and provider.

Metawell encapsulates the group’s existing collection of mind/body wellness technologies which includes experience beds, loungers and equipment that integrate sound, vibration, light and water.

Sammy Gharieni, group founder and CEO, said: “After more than 30 years of pioneering in the industry, I’m so excited to announce this new direction for our company.

“We’ve seen the need to lead in this sector given that there is still much confusion, lack of clarity and gaps in knowledge on how to best create value for consumers and business owners using mind/body wellness technologies.

“We see a tremendous opportunity to deepen our thought leadership in this sector and create new possibilities for industry collaborations. Metawell has been conceived to bring a platform to this area and we look forward to engaging with other innovative brands where we can create a lot of added value by working together.”

Following the restructuring, Gharieni Group serves as the umbrella organisation for its three brands. In addition to Metawell, these include Gharieni (traditional spa, beauty and wellness equipment) and Bentlon – the group’s most recent acqusition, Bentlon, which caters to a younger, contemporary customer base, specialising in serving a new generation of small spa and salon operators.

Each brand will maintain its own website, linked to the group’s main platform, while all operational aspects will remain unchanged.
